    reThought has formed strategic relationships with insurers, reinsurers and other capacity providers to provide the path to help them profitably innovate in the Commercial Flood market.     Cory Isaacson

    Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer

    Cory has built a career in technology, with several wins under his belt: he was most recently CTO of RMS, founded and ran several software related businesses in the past (serving in various roles such as CEO, CTO & President). Cory helped lead a division of a public company into a successful acquisition by a leading private equity firm. In addition, he has authored numerous books and articles on tech related matters, spoken at dozens of events and has 5 U.S patents to his name.
     

    James Rice

    Co-Founder/ President, reThought Specialty Brokerage

    James is an industry veteran who has been delivering complex solutions to the insurance and financial markets for 20+ years. He has deep specialty lines experience as a long-time E&S wholesaler and MGA executive and has served in sales management leadership roles with a number of leading global insurance technology and analytics firms, including Risk Management Solutions, AIR Worldwide and Insurity.
     

    Derek Lynch

    Chief Underwriting Officer

    Derek is committed to fix flood insurance. He holds two of the premier designations in the insurance industry: the CPCU and the ARM. Derek has a Bachelor's degree in business administration which provides a good understanding of most businesses and the underlying business operations that lead to their success. He also holds the AIS designation which focuses on quality control and customer satisfaction. Through the use of technology, Derek is always working on adding more value and making the insurance experience easier and more convenient.
     

    Cyrena Arnold

    Chief Sales Officer

    Cyrena is a Meteorologist with over 20 years of experience varying from arctic weather station installations to TV weather, and everything in between. Cyrena has worked with Insurance since 2015 and came to reThought from Athenium Analytics and has a deep passion for translating the weather to others. She has also worked for NASA contractors and the Mount Washington Observatory. Cyrena was the NH TechProfessional of the Year in 2019, as was named to the "40 under 40".
     

    Nicholas Lamparelli

    Co-Founder, reThought Advisor

    Nick is a 20+ year insurance veteran and has worked in various capacities in the industry, including broking, underwriting and analytics. Nick is also a partner at InsNerds.com, a website dedicated to introducing millennials to the insurance industry. He is also the co-host of an insurance-related podcast called Profiles in Risk.

    Summary

     

    The Senior Account Manager manages the relationship with existing commercial customers. This position is the owner of existing client relationship and works closely with the Regional Sales Manager. This position is focused on the development of long-term account strategy, relationship building and lead in meeting client immediate needs. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for identifying expansion opportunities, as well as client retention/satisfaction, achieving commercial growth goals and overall customer satisfaction. The Senior Account Manager should have strong relationship building skills, a drive to exceed solution sales targets, an ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for serving clients and their members.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and strengthen client relationships and ensure satisfaction and growth expectations are met.
    • Responsible for existing and new client onboarding in tandem with the Regional Sales Manager on large accounts.
    • Work with underwriting and sales team as required.
    • Accountable for development of client-specific strategic plan, and ongoing monitoring of plan with adjustments made as necessary.
    • Delivery of quarterly review of plan performance with client.
    • Serve as account strategist for assigned accounts both internally and externally.
    • Determine opportunities for maximizing commercial opportunities for revenue growth.
    • Interface directly with assigned clients and groups on a quarterly basis or more frequently as needed.
    • Vet new appointment opportunities for the Regional Sales Manager
    • Support marketing initiatives and manage mass marketing in alignment with the Regional Sales Manager.
    • Special projects and tasks forces as assigned.
    • Meet established growth metrics and marketing activity expectations
    • Consistently document CRM with activities and initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 5 plus years of experience.
    • Strong PC skills including CRM, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Working knowledge of financials.
    • Strong Project Management skills.
    • Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to negotiate, cultivate relationships, organize, analyze and interpret information.
